I was fit, I was strong, but I couldn't hit the ball far. I couldn't figure it out.
I was playing with people that weren't as good as me, they weren't in as good shape, and they were blowing the ball past me.
I couldn't figure it out. I'm doing these exercises, I'm doing golf fitness, even before when it was in vogue.
I was getting stronger but that just meant I was hitting the ball farther into the woods.

The biggest difference between the pros and the amateurs is their kinematic sequence, meaning that their arms are out racing the lower body. Also the kinetic chain of power, the power coming from the ground up.
It blew me away. I implemented those 2 things in all my exercises from power, speed, strength, mobility, flexibility and swing specific drills.
The results were amazing. After a few months I was out driving people that used to bomb the ball past me.
One guy even thought I was hitting a sprinkler head to get that distance when I out drove him.
I was even getting on the green in two on a par five. That was unheard of before.
I went from a 12 handicap to a 6!
